Suspect in 1968 hijacking at JFK is captured

today Luis Armando Pena Soltren,a 66 year old man who was accused of hijacking a plane in 1968 was captured.After 4 decades of running and hiding in cuba this man turned himself in to New York authorities at the John F. Kennedy international airport after exiting a flight from Havna, Cuba. Officials said: it's the same airport that Pan Am flight 281 took off from 40 years ago.According to a December 1968 indictment, Soltren and three others -- Jose Rafael Rios Cruz, Miguel Castro and Alejandro Figueroa -- conspired to hijack Flight 281 on November 24 of that year. They were accused of bringing concealed guns and knives aboard the flight and using the weapons to take over the flight.
